Kelle Lima (author-illustrator of Along Came Oliver) & Jennifer Decker (author of the multi-award winner Oliver and the Wishing Star) are excited to announce they will be doing an author event together at Barnes & Noble that will rock your Saturday on July 09 2022!
Come and meet the local authors as you have fun with their incredible story time, a scavenger hunt, coloring, and a raffle to get some amazing prizes! Authors will be happy to sign your books, snap a picture, and even have some Q&A and casual chatting.
It's time to get ready for all the family fun!
Note: there will be a scavenger hunt activity to support other local authors! If you are a local author with a book currently on sale at B&N please reach out to writerversejourney[at]gmail[dot]com to know more and get your book seen by all the kids that stop by!

Schedule will follow as indicated below (please check this article for any updates that me be posted!):
12PM - Event begins: Coloring contest + casual chat + scavenger hunt
1PM - Read aloud of both books (in English) and quick chat about them.
2PM - First drawing (grand basket prize #1 + smaller prizes). Followed by book signing and activities
3PM - Children's activities continue + book signing and casual chatting
3:30PM - Second drawing (grand basket prize #2 + smaller prizes)
4PM - End of author Event
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Kelle Lima has worked in the educational field, from teaching to creating educational video and board games for children internationally. Coming from Brazil, she also makes sure her native language is reflected in her publications, such as her bilingual activity book or book translations, like Along Came Oliver’s Portuguese edition.
